Project Details
House Back in Camps Bay uses stone as the home's quiet centrepiece, most strikingly in a dramatic dark green stone feature wall that a floating timber staircase is set directly against, the veining given room to read as its own piece of art. Nearby, a fireplace is wrapped in dark charcoal stone, framed by open timber shelving that keeps the room from feeling heavy. The kitchen takes a lighter approach, with a cream and beige veined stone counter cut with a full waterfall edge and an integrated sink, the surface catching light against warm timber cabinetry. Every bathroom continues the material story in stacked, split-face natural stone cladding in soft beige and grey tones, paired with sculptural white vessel basins on a double timber vanity, black wall-mounted tapware, and a hand-carved dark stone vessel basin as a standalone feature. Warm brown and taupe large-format tile runs underfoot throughout, in places laid on the diagonal for a subtle shift in rhythm across the floor.
