Project Details
House James in Scarborough runs a white marble with soft grey veining through its kitchen, cut with a full waterfall edge on the island. One section of counter takes a different approach, finished with an unusual ribbed, grooved surface that catches the light differently to the polished stone around it. Several bathrooms are clad floor to ceiling in matching marble tile, fitted with sculptural vessel basins and a mix of bronze and chrome tapware across the different spaces, while one bathroom shifts to a beige-grey mosaic tile for contrast. Throughout, the stone was kept restrained and light, letting the fittings and architecture carry the detail.
