House Kruger in Wynberg is built around rich, dark timber cabinetry, with a white marble carrying soft grey veining used to lift the kitchen against that darker palette. The stone runs as a full splashback behind the stove and continues onto the island countertop, its cool tone standing out clearly against the surrounding wood. Elsewhere in the home, the same material reappears as a tabletop surface, tying the kitchen's material choice back into the living spaces without repeating the same application twice.
