At House Oosterhuizen in Pearl Valley, a warm cream and beige travertine-look stone was laid across the full pool deck and surrounding patio, its irregular, weathered texture suited to a space that sees direct sun and constant foot traffic. Set against the home's thatched roofline and simple wrought-iron patio furniture, the stone reads as settled into the landscape rather than freshly installed, framing the pool's clean, geometric edge with a material that softens the hard lines around it.
