At Mason Cabrier Hotel in Franschhoek, cream-beige limestone defines the pool deck and its mitred coping. Broad slabs create a calm, continuous surface around the water, while narrow terracotta-toned bands cross the paving in a measured grid. Their warm colour brings definition to the expansive deck and complements the limestone, pool and surrounding greenery. Loungers and umbrellas line the pool, completing a setting designed for relaxed outdoor use.
